The aim of this journal is to publish conceptual, methodological and empirical papers dealing with quality-of-life studies in the applied areas of the natural and social sciences.

The focus of SIR is mostly conceptualization and measurement issues of QOL in various life domains, situational conditions, settings, groups, communities, etc. The journal is very well-established and is regarded as a premier journal in QOL research.
Journal of Happiness Studies (JOHS)
JOHS is a peer reviewed scientific journal devoted to subjective well being. It covers both cognitive evaluations of life (e.g., life satisfaction) and affective enjoyment of life (e.g., joy).
Journal of Macromarketing (JMM)
The Journal of Macromarketing is the preeminent scholarly outlet for meaningful research that examines the effects of markets and marketing on society, the effects of social programs on marketing practice, marketing history, marketing systems and marketing phenomena in the aggregate, and marketing’s effects on quality of life.
Social-Psychological Interventions (SPI)
The Journal is a platform for presenting research related to social needs and problems such as marginalization, maladjustment, alienation, exclusion, stigmatisation, prejudice, etc.

This book series aims to provide a public forum for single treatises and collections of papers on social indicators research that are too long to be published in Social Indicators Research.

The book series makes an attempt to encourage new handbooks that focus on capturing the QOL research literature in specific life domains, for specific populations, or in relation to specific disciplines or industry sectors.

Best Practices in Community Quality-of-Life Research
Many planners in various communities (cities, towns, and rural areas) mostly in the U.S., Canada, and Western Europe have developed community indicators projects to guide the community development efforts. The proposed best practices book series is designed to help the planners and researchers in those localities launch their own community indicators project (if they do not have one in place) or improve on their existing project.
